For several days I've been monitoring the increasing spread of viral spam that's been spreading. You can check out the latest at SANS Storm Center which is tracking it.
The emails come from all over the world, and they have an attachment or link that users are clicking on. Bad idea.
This may be a good time to warn your users (and yourself...) not to click on any attachments or links in any emails unless they are expecting them. These spam emails are pretty slick purporting to come from your own network administrator. Don't fall for it, and don't let your colleagues fall for it, either.
